Now that the dust has settled in Santa Monica where E3 was held, it’s time to look back at some of my predictions that I made as far as what you should be pre-ordering, due to popularity this coming holiday season.
Rock Band (PS3 & X360): some new information regarding the X360 version of this game has come to light. It seems that though the PS3 bundle version will be shipping with a wireless guitar, the X360 version will have a wire. That may not seem like a big deal, but if you have someone singing, on drums, playing guitar, and playing bass or rhythm guitar you would need to have 4 ports for each wire of each instrument. Though the X360 is a great console, there are only 3 such ports. Guitar Hero III on the other had has the brand recognition and I think that Slash backing it will give it a boost. Who doesn’t love that walking top hat? I’m going to preorder the Guitar Hero III bundle due to it having a wireless guitar included. Who knows? Rockband could announce that they are using a wireless guitar, in which case I will only preorder the game for GHIII and the bundle for Rockband. I honestly wish they would just release the info! I am such a kid at heart.
