Busy

My second week of school kept me pretty tied up for the most part. I’ll have to drop a good sized update in the next few days. Tomorrow night is out since I’m hosting a Rock Band party here at the house. Have a good weekend.

Disappointment…

Videogames:
For the past four weeks or so, I’ve been having trouble logging into Xbox LIVE. Microsoft knows about the problem and is supposedly working on it. The bad thing is that the XBOX 360 loses much of its functionality when it can not connect to the internet. Case in point: Rock band songs that you can download in order to broaden the already great song library will not show up until you can log into LIVE. Yes, I own the rights to use the songs, but I can not use them unless I can log into XBOX LIVE. Here in lies the problem of no log-in, no access to those songs. Yes, I have them downloaded to my system and they show up if I look for them on the drive outside of the game. No, they will not work if I can not connect to LIVE. It’s frustrating, to say the least. I’m honestly considering buying a PS3 next Fall so I can play some of the games that aren’t on 360 as well as the games that are on both platforms. PS3 users have their own shortcomings, but nothing like this. I am paying for this service and I’m not getting service in return. It’s bullshit.

This can’t be real

I’ve just downloaded a new web browser called Flock. You can find it here. I’m actually blogging from it right now. It plugs into Facebook, Youtube, Photobucket, and my personal favorite Flickr. It works for both Mac and Windows so give it a try.

School:
I’m dropping my Intro to Theater class. The workload for that class is ridiculous. I’m going to be swapping it out for something else next week. I’ll drop an update on here when I figure out what I’m going to be taking. Looks like I’ll be taking Interpersonal Communication, better communication techniques are always useful. Wow, I just figured out this thing spell checks in real-time.

That’s all for now. See, I told you I would be posting more.

Stretch…

Let me start out by saying that I will be disabling comments on here from this post on. I don’t want anyone to take it personal as it’s not because of any one of you that respond to my postings. I guess I just miss the days back on blogger.com where I would just post and leave it out there to be read. I really need to get back into writing on a regular basis, I really mean it this time. I have had so much trouble, while I’ve been back in school, writing anything at all. My classes for the past two semesters have basically gone to shit due to my inability to turn out anything over a page. My writing in general has gotten dusty and covered with rust since I only post on here once every few months. I’m going to keep a regular posting on here at least once a week to keep things updated and have my own record of this journey. Once again, I’m sorry to remove comments but it feels better to me if I don’t actually have an idea of who is reading this.

WHERE I AM NOW
I’m currently in my fifth semester here at UCB. My major is Liberal Studies while I’m still here. What I mean by that is that I will not be pursing my degree here, but instead I will be transferring, for the most part, up to University of Maine at Orono. There I will be attaining my degree in Exercise Science (Administration). Basically, once my degree is completed, I’ll be a be able to train people as-well-as manage and even own my own gym. Even if I have to leave here, Maine, I’ll be happy to be doing something that I love to do. Fitness seems to be the one area of my life that, even when it causes me stress, produces the most happiness for me.

SAMSARA: PART TWO
I will be putting some serious work into getting this written by the end of February. I wrote the original in one sitting.
