Videogames:
For the past four weeks or so, I’ve been having trouble logging into Xbox LIVE. Microsoft knows about the problem and is supposedly working on it. The bad thing is that the XBOX 360 loses much of its functionality when it can not connect to the internet. Case in point: Rock band songs that you can download in order to broaden the already great song library will not show up until you can log into LIVE. Yes, I own the rights to use the songs, but I can not use them unless I can log into XBOX LIVE. Here in lies the problem of no log-in, no access to those songs. Yes, I have them downloaded to my system and they show up if I look for them on the drive outside of the game. No, they will not work if I can not connect to LIVE. It’s frustrating, to say the least. I’m honestly considering buying a PS3 next Fall so I can play some of the games that aren’t on 360 as well as the games that are on both platforms. PS3 users have their own shortcomings, but nothing like this. I am paying for this service and I’m not getting service in return. It’s bullshit.
